Packers vs Cardinals Predictor

An NFC showdown tonight between two of the best teams in the league will take place tonight in Arizona. The Green Bay Packers will play road dogs vs. the best team in the NFL this season, the undefeated Arizona Cardinals. The Packers have been lights out since their opening week disaster of a loss to the New Orleans Saints, and a huge part of that has been the outstanding play by the reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers. On the flip side, the Arizona Cardinals have been great in every aspect this season, playing to the tune of an undefeated 7-0 record. The Cardinals remain the only undefeated team in the NFL, as the Packers will look to change that tonight. 
The big storyline coming into this football game is the absence of Packers star wide receiver and the best wideout currently in the NFL in the form of Davante Adams. This line opened at -3 for the Cardinals, but the news of Adams has shot this line three points up, and the Cardinals currently sit as a 6.5 point favorite. I believe this is far too many points to give the former MVP in this football game. Despite Adams being one of the best wideouts in the game, Rodgers can still cover this number in his absence. The Packers will be depleted at the wideout sport as Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are also out. Rodgers has a perfect 6-0 record without Adams in his career, so when he has had to step up, he has answered the call. I expect to see a ton of involvement from star running back Aaron Jones, and I believe we will see Randal Cobb step up in this game as well. The Cardinals are still due for a letdown spot and got uncompromising news this week as JJ Watt will be out for the season. I think we see a great football game tonight, but I am buying the half point and taking the Packers as touchdown dog tonight.
