NHL Friday Night Predictor

The Ottawa Senators will travel into the lone star Saturday, Friday night and face off with the Dallas Stars. The Senators come into this game sporting a 2-4 overall record and low expectations in the 2021 season. On the other side, the Starts come into this hockey game supporting a record of 3-3-1 and much higher expectations coming into the season than their opponent tonight. The Stars are coming off a pair of losses, including an overtime loss Wednesday night to the Vegas Golden Knights as the Stars blew a one-goal lead with 60 seconds in the game and would go on to lose the game in overtime.

I like the Dallas Stars a lot in this game tonight for a few reasons. First, I think the Stars bounce back here on home ice after a couple of bad losses. The Stars have been excellent after losing two games in a row and facing a much weaker opponent on home ice. This should be the perfect bounce-back spot for this Dallas Team. The second thing is the skill-position difference, and depth of this Stars roster should play big later in this game, and I believe they pull away from Ottawa. Ottawa also presents a weak offense and only has had one game this season, scoring more than three goals. The Stars should win this one comfortably for us tonight at home.
PICK: Dallas Stars -1 -118
