Bears Vs Steelers Predictor

Monday Night Football will feature the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers tonight for this primetime battle. The Bears come into this game, losing their last three games and most recently an eleven-point loss to the 49ers at home. The Steelers come into this game on opposite terms as they have been winners of three straight football games, including a massive divisional win last week over Baker Mayfield and the Clevland Browns. The Steelers find themselves back in the hunt for the postseason as the Bears find themselves evaluating if rookie QB and former Ohio State standout Justin Fields can be their future quarterback. The spread for this game is currently Steelers -6.5 as a home favorite, with the total for this game sitting at just 40.

The play I am looking at tonight is the Pittsburgh Steelers first-quarter team total, which is currently sitting at 5.5. The Steelers come into this game ranking second to last in the NFL only to the New York Jets in first-quarter points. The Steelers currently are only scoring 2.0 points this season in the first quarter. This has been an offense struggling to get the flow that will rely on the running game and extensions of the run game featuring many short routes and screens. The pace that the Steelers will play with here will favor this number to go under as I only see them getting two possessions at most in the quarter. The Bear's first-quarter defense has also been able to keep teams under this total allowing 4.6 points in the first quarter as a team. The 5.5 is too high here in the first quarter for Pittsburgh as I see a field goal being the worst case here.

Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers 1Q TT Under 5.5 -110
