The spread for this game is currently Steelers -6.5 as a home favorite, with the total for this game sitting at just 40. 

The play I am looking at tonight is the Pittsburgh Steelers first-quarter team total, which is currently sitting at 5.5. The Steelers come into this game ranking second to last in the NFL only to the New York Jets in first-quarter points. The Steelers currently are only scoring 2.0 points this season in the first quarter. This has been an offense struggling to get the flow that will rely on the running game and extensions of the run game featuring many short routes and screens. The pace that the Steelers will play with here will favor this number to go under as I only see them getting two possessions at most in the quarter. The Bear's first-quarter defense has also been able to keep teams under this total allowing 4.6 points in the first quarter as a team. The 5.5 is too high here in the first quarter for Pittsburgh as I see a field goal being the worst case here.
