We split the article bets last week for the Conference Championships for an even weekend. We lost 1 unit on Byron Pringle, who recorded only two receptions against the Cincinnati Bengals. We made that unit back with Jimmy Garoppolo throwing an interception against the Los Angeles Rams. I’m shifting back to another receiving prop for the Super Bowl. In this article, you’ll find my favorite bet involving Ja’Marr Chase vs the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Rams in Super Bowl LVI. Although it’s supposed to be a neutral-site game, the Bengals will be the road team, as it’ll be played at SoFi Stadium, which is home to Los Angeles. Both teams are coming off of impressive victories, and this Super Bowl is truly up for grabs. The Rams are currently -4.5 point favorites in a game set at 48.5 points.

Chase’s looked elite throughout his rookie season for the Cincinnati Bengals. He posted 101 receptions for 1,734 yards and 14 touchdowns on 155 targets over 20 games. He boasts a 65.2% catch rate to go along with 17.2 yards per reception in 2021.
Chase was a bit of a boom or bust option throughout the season. With that being said, he caught fire over his last few games. He posted 109+ receiving yards in four of his last five full games. Over that span, he averaged 7.6 receptions for 134 yards and 0.8 touchdowns on 9.8 targets per game.
Chase recorded 109 or more yards in four of those five games. He also had his best game against the Kansas City Chiefs, posting 11 receptions for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns on 12 targets in Week 17.
Chase gets an interesting matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. They’re giving up 241.7 passing yards per game and 6.3 adjusted yards per attempt this season. Los Angeles also allowed 17 passing touchdowns with only a 2.7% passing touchdown rate in 2021.
The Rams struggled with both air yards and yards after the catch (YAC) this season. They’ve allowed 2,265 air yards and 2,212 YAC thus far. Overall, Los Angeles’ given up the seventh-most airYAC (4,477) in the NFL this season.
Chase’s been elite in terms of air yards and YAC this season. He’s seen the ninth-most air yards (1,617) with a 12.6 aDOT. Chase’s also recorded the third-most YAC (651) in the NFL behind only Cooper Kupp and Deebo Samuel. He’s averaging 8 yards after the catch per reception this season.
This is an interesting spot for the Bengals. They’re essentially the road team in the Super Bowl, similar to the Kansas City Chiefs last season. Chase has multiple ways to beat the Los Angeles defense, and he’s found tremendous success in recent games. He should return to form after somewhat of a down week last weekend, and Chase boasts elite potential to post 100+ receiving yards again this week.
