AFC WEST:

Kansas City Chiefs- 10.5 Wins: OVER -115

How will the Kansas City Chiefs fare in the post-Tyreek Hill era? The Chiefs are most known for their explosive, big-play ability. Now, the Chiefs will transition as a more nuanced offense with the new additions of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Skyy Moore.

If you can take away one theme from today's article, the AFC West is the toughest division in football and one of the toughest that we have seen in recent years.

The Chiefs have a tough schedule in 2022, leaving us with a quandary. Ultimately, I will rely on Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and one of the best offenses in the league to get it done again. Take the OVER.

Las Vegas Raiders- 8.5 Wins: STAY AWAY

The Las Vegas Raiders made headlines in the off-season when they acquired Davante Adams. The Raider's offense with Davante Adams, Darren Waller, and Hunter Renfrow will pose problems for the opposition.

My issue with the Raiders is I believe they are the worst team in this division. That's not to say they are a bad team, but again, the AFC West is loaded in 2022!

Can the Raiders reach nine wins, given that I expect them to finish last in the division? It is possible. I am torn on this one and believe the total is right on the money. My best advice on the Raiders is to stay away.

Los Angeles Chargers- 10 Wins: OVER -135

The Los Angeles Chargers may be the most talented team on both sides of the ball in the NFL. Justin Herbert is poised to aim for the top QB in the game. Herbert is surrounded by playmakers Austin Eckler, Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams.

The Chargers boast an improving defense with pass rushers Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. Derwin James returning to health would do wonders for the Charger's secondary.

I expect the Chargers to come out of the blocks white hot to start the season and never look back. Ten wins is a large number, but I'll buy the hype and take the OVER.

Denver Broncos- 10 Wins: OVER -110

The acquisition of Russell Wilson transforms the Denver Broncos entirely. Having Russell Wilson under center will open up a world of possibilities for Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and K.J. Hamler.

The Broncos also boast one of the top 1-2 punches at the RB position in Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon.

If you want to talk about a welcoming September schedule, take a look at the slate for the Denver Broncos: at Seahawks, vs. Texans, vs. 49ers, and at Raiders. The Broncos will steamroll out of the gate and have all the positive momentum on their side as they enter the tougher portion of their schedule.

Ten wins is a tough pill to swallow, but I am buying in hook, line, and sinker on the Denver Broncos. I'll take the OVER.
