2022 NFL Futures | Super Bowl, Conference, and Division Winners

Since we are amid our NFL Futures series, we wanted to provide you with our favorite playoff picks for the 2022 season. Today we break down our Super Bowl, Conference, and Division winners!

Super Bowl Champion: 

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +700

There is a method to the madness in picking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to hoist the Lombardi Trophy as Super Bowl Champions. The strategy begins with the notion that the AFC is a much stronger conference. The AFC West is going to be a blood bath. The Buffalo Bills are poised to come back strong, and the Baltimore Ravens are lurking in the background. Not to mention the defending AFC Champs, the Cincinnati Bengals. 

In the NFC, it feels watered down. The Green Bay Packers feel like they're on the verge of taking a step back. The San Francisco 49ers are a team in transition with Trey Lance under center. It doesn't feel like the Philadelphia Eagles, or the Dallas Cowboys are ready to challenge for the Conference title. That leaves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. Given how hard it is to repeat, I'm rolling with the Buccaneers and Tom Brady at +700. I will also advise taking them as the NFC Conference Winner at +330.

AFC Conference Champion: 

Baltimore Ravens +900

I have been rolling with the Baltimore Ravens all off-season, and I'm not pumping the brakes now. To my earlier point, it is tough to pick an AFC West team with much confidence, as they will beat each other up all season long. 

Vegas tells you there is a fluke element to the Cincinnati Bengals as the Ravens post as the AFC North favorites. 

The Buffalo Bills are the favorites, but at +275, I much rather take a shot that the Baltimore Ravens can run the table and win the AFC at +900. I would also be confident playing the Ravens to win the AFC North at +165.

NFC Division Winners:

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles (+160)

I have been hammering the Eagles all off-season. The Eagles are the favorites in the NFC East, in my opinion. At +160 are worth the gamble.

NFC West: Los Angeles Rams (+125)

It is incredibly tough to repeat in the NFL in the modern era. Too many uncertainties and you have to get good luck on your side. The Los Angeles Rams are the class of the NFC West, however. I believe the 49ers  and the Cardinals will take a step back in 2022. The Seahawks are a lost franchise. Things would have to go wrong for the Los Angeles Rams NOT to win the NFC West.

NFC North: Minnesota Vikings (+265)

Picking the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC North may raise the ire of Packer fans. The Green Bay Packers have owned the NFC North for quite some time. Without Davante Adams, the Packers offense feels like they will have to figure things out throughout the 2022 season. The Vikings, on the other hand, feel like an inspired franchise, with young pieces on offense headed in a positive direction. Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, and Irv Smith Jr. should pose issues for NFL defenses. At +265, I'll roll the dice on the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC North.
