Welcome to the beginning of the college football conference preview. My colleague Adam Glick and I will preview every conference and share our season predictions and winners. Today let's break down the ACC.

A quick reminder for our readers: these odds are on DraftKings Sportsbook. The lines from DraftKings may vary depending on when you read these articles.

ACC:

Clemson (11.5 Wins): UNDER

The Clemson program is just not the same post-Trevor Lawrence. There are far too many question marks at the quarterback position. D.J. Uiagalelei is slow in his progression, and it reduces the rest of the offense. I have zero confidence that the Tigers can run the table, so I am hammering the UNDER.

Miami, FL (9.5 Wins): UNDER

Tyler Van Dyke injected life into the Miami Hurricane's offense in 2021. Van Dyke is one of the more fascinating players in college football heading into 2022. The Hurricanes have a schedule that includes road match-ups against Texas A&M and Clemson. Will they run the table the rest of the way? I'm not banking on it. I'm taking the UNDER.

NC State (9.5 Wins): OVER

The Wolfpack won't be sneaking up on anyone in 2022. Devin Leary adds an element of explosiveness to the NC State offense. Outside of a road game against Clemson, the Wolfpack should be favored in every remaining game. I'll take the OVER here.

Pittsburgh (9.5 Wins): UNDER

Pittsburgh is going to miss Kenny Pickett under center. My immediate, knee-jerk reaction is to take the UNDER. You look at their schedule, and the Panthers avoid Clemson AND NC State. The Panthers are a tough one, admittedly. I'm still going to lean the UNDER. 9.5 wins for a team breaking in a new QB is too aggressive for me.

Florida State (8.5 Wins): UNDER

I am not a believer in the Florida State program. They annually disappoint, and I see 2022 as more of the same. The Seminoles have a troublesome early season match-up against LSU. They also have a brutal stretch where they face Wake Forest, NC State, and Clemson in back-to-back-to-back weeks. I am hammering the UNDER.

Wake Forest (8.5 Wins): OVER

How Wake Forest handles their early-season issues at the QB position will determine their outcome. Sam Hartman is out indefinitely, so Wake Forest must navigate their early-season schedule without him. Wake has three easy games before a tilt with Clemson. I still like the resolve of this team. Wake Forest has a manageable schedule. I will lean the OVER.

North Carolina (7.5 Wins): UNDER

After a creampuff schedule to kick off their 2022 season, the Tar Heels run into a rough stretch that includes: Notre Dame, Miami, Wake Forest, NC State, and Pittsburgh. I'm not seeing how North Carolina reaches eight wins. I'm taking the UNDER.

Virginia (7 Wins): OVER

Virginia QB Brennan Armstrong is one of the best-kept secrets in College Football. Armstrong gives defense fits as an explosive thrower and a runner. Their schedule appears soft as well. I like the Cavaliers to get over the hump. Take the OVER.

Virginia Tech (6.5 Wins): OVER

Grant Wells, the Marshall transfer, has won the starting QB job for Virginia Tech. Wells is an accurate thrower and will add an element to the Hokies' offense. The Hokies have a favorable schedule and enough on defense to get over 6.5 wins.

Louisville (6.5 Wins): UNDER

Louisville QB Malik Cunningham is a video game come to life. Cunningham is ridiculous in the open field. I can't say I'm a big fan of the pieces around Cunningham. Louisville has an absurd second-half schedule that includes FIVE teams ranked in the Top 25 in the preseason poll. I'm going to take the UNDER here.

Boston College (6.5 Wins): OVER

Can Phil Jurkovec be this year's Kenny Pickett? Time will tell. Jurkovec brings veteran leadership to the Eagles' offense. Phil Jurkovec will not get rattled and leads a Boston College team that always plays hard. They will scratch and claw their way to an OVER.

Syracuse (5 Wins): UNDER

If you are not familiar with Syracuse RB Sean Tucker, search his highlights on Youtube. Tucker is one of the most talented backs in all of College Football. Unfortunately for the 'Cuse faithful, there's not much else here. I'll take the UNDER.

Georgia Tech (3.5 Wins): OVER

Georgia Tech poses a unique challenge for teams week in and week out. Jahmyr Gibbs, transferring from Georgia Tech to Alabama sting. I will still take the OVER in a gutsy effort in 2022.

Duke (3 Wins): UNDER

The Duke offense could look drastically different depending on who starts at QB. Jordan Moore is playing QB and WR. He will make an impact one way or another. Unfortunately, for the Blue Devils, there's not much else to get excited for. I'll take the UNDER.
