RUNNING BACKS:

Javonte Williams- 945 Regular Season Rushing Yards: OVER (-105)

Javonte Williams will be a star in the NFL. I feel very confident about this. Williams ran for 900 yards a season ago while playing second banana to Melvin Gordon. The sentiment around the Broncos organization and the NFL as a whole is that Javonte Williams will be the lead back in 2022.

Throw in that Russell Wilson is now the quarterback and that defenses will have to game plan to stop the passing game, and Javonte Williams should have open lanes in which to run.

Javonte Williams should eclipse 1,000 yards as a rusher in 2022. Take the OVER.

Saquon Barkley- 7.5 Regular Season Rushing TD: OVER (-115)

I have been hammering the Saquon Barkley comeback tour all off-season and won't stop now. Positive vibes are flowing from the Giants organization for the first time in a long time.

Brian Daboll is taking over as the new Head Coach. The Giants invested in the offensive line, selecting OT Evan Neal in the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Saquon Barkley will operate as the lead back and get as many touches as he can handle. I'll take the OVER on 7.5 rushing TD.

James Conner- 9.5 Regular Season Rushing TD: OVER (-110)

James Conner scored 15 rushing TD in as many games last season. To expect Conner to return to that number may be a stretch, but he remains the clear favorite for most of the touches in the Cardinals' backfield, including the goal-line work.

An 'under' bet here is only betting against the health of James Conner. Betting that way has been profitable throughout Conners' career. James Conner remains the preferred option around the end zone for Arizona. I will take the OVER.

Devin Singletary- 750 Rushing Yards: OVER (-115)

Could the Buffalo Bills backfield turn into a mess for fantasy football managers? Certainly. The Bills drafted James Cook in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and Zack Moss remains in the picture.

Devin Singletary ran for 870 yards last season. He was in a timeshare for the vast majority of the season. Even if this backfield is a full-blown committee, I still like Devin Singletary's odds to eclipse 750 rushing yards. Take the OVER.

Tony Pollard- 700 Rushing Yards: OVER (-130)

Is this the year the Dallas Cowboys finally come to their senses and allow Tony Pollard to take over more backfield responsibilities? Tony Pollard has been more explosive and dynamic than Ezekiel Elliott for a while now. I'm banking that Pollard can come more to the forefront in 2022. Take the OVER.

AJ Dillon- 5.5 Regular Season Rushing TD: OVER (-125)

Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur refers to Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon as "1A and 1A" types of backs. If Jones and Dillon are as interchangeable as the Packers coaching staff is letting on, Dillon should clear 5.5 rushing touchdowns. Take the OVER.
