Welcome to the beginning of the college football conference preview. My colleague Adam Glick and I will preview every conference and share our season predictions and winners. Today let's break down the SEC.

A quick reminder for our readers: these odds are on DraftKings Sportsbook. The lines from DraftKings may vary depending on when you read these articles.

SEC:

Alabama (10.5 Wins): OVER (-230)

Bryce Young may be the best offensive player in the country, and Will Anderson Jr. IS the best defensive player in the country! The Crimson Tide are LOADED. Don't overthink it. Take the OVER.

Georgia (10.5 Wins): OVER (-205)

Georgia has a daunting task in the opener against Oregon. I believe Georgia will escape unscathed. The Bulldogs have as much talent as anyone in the country. I'm still leaning into the momentum. I'm taking the Over.

Texas A&M (8.5 Wins): OVER (-150)

Texas A&M has an arduous schedule, but they have the talent to handle the challenge. It will be nail biting time, but I believe the Aggies climb the OVER.

Arkansas (7.5 Wins): UNDER (-145)

KJ Jefferson is the apple of the eye of many college football analysts. I don't see it. I see a limited offense in Arkansas heading into 2022. I'll take advantage of the national narrative. I'm banking on the Under.

Tennessee (7.5 Wins): OVER (-160)

Hendon Hooker is leading a much improved and explosive Volunteer offense. Tennessee has a few cream puffs on its schedule. You will have to pay the iron price, but the over on 7.5 feels like a lock.

Ole Miss (7.5 Wins): UNDER (+110)

No Matt Corrall heading into the season. The Rebels will attempt to replace him with some combination of Jaxson Dart or Luke Altmyer. They are also missing many of their top receiving options from 2021. I'm taking the Under.

Auburn (6.5 Wins): UNDER (-160)

The Auburn Tigers feel like a transition program. The question mark at the QB position leaves this offense in limbo. In a murderers row that is the SEC--I'm taking the Under.

LSU (7.0 Wins): UNDER (-120)

I love the Jayden Daniels addition to the LSU offense. The Tigers will be one of the most fun watches in college football in 2022. I don't believe it translates into many victories, unfortunately. I'll take the Under.

Florida (7.0 Wins): OVER (-130)

Anthony Richardson is one of the most explosive and polarizing players in college football. Richardson has the type of excitement and intrigue that can carry a program. A tough schedule that kicks off with a tilt against Utah will be a tricky dilemma. I'm still going to lean into the Over on seven.

Kentucky (7.5 Wins): OVER (-160)

I know the loss of offensive coordinator Liam Coen to the Los Angeles Rams will hurt the continuity of the Wildcats' offense. The Wildcats have an easy early-season schedule and a talented Will Levis returning at QB. Take the Over on Kentucky.

Mississippi State (6.5 Wins): OVER (+120)

The Mike Leach pass-happy offense deployed with Will Rogers under center again in 2022. The Bulldogs have a veteran group with many returning starters. I'm going to lean into the OVER here.

South Carolina (6 Wins): STAY AWAY

Spencer Rattler transferring to South Carolina is one of the more fascinating moves of the off-season. We all know how talented Rattler is. We also know how he has had an erratic up-and-down career so far. Can Rattler put it all together in 2022? I'm not willing to bet on either side of this one. STAY AWAY.

Missouri (5.5 Wins): UNDER (-110)

Missouri is one of the few teams in the SEC that lacks a true identity. I am questioning the direction of the offense with a giant question mark at the QB position. A tough schedule to boot--I'll take the Under.

Vanderbilt (2.5 Wins): UNDER (-140)

Vanderbilt is the worst team in the SEC by a mile. I don't see a pathway to more than two wins--take the Under.
