The Cardinals will not have the luxury of committing to the run. Kyler Murray will have plenty of garbage time to accumulate passing numbers and should sail past this mark.
With no DeAndre Hopkins in this one, Marquise Brown should be targeted relentlessly in a comeback effort.
I expect a much improved defensive front seven from the Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders will have to air it out if they have any hopes of a victory. Derek Carr may throw the ball 50 times.
The Chargers will likely game plan to stop Davante Adams. This strategy should leave Darren Waller open across the middle of the field.
The Chargers' offense will be a juggernaut this season. Justin Herbert will throw as much as anyone in the league in 2022. 282.5 is lofty, but I see Herbert exceeding lofty expectations in the opener.
Mike Williams should take a step forward and take over as the top receiving threat in the Chargers offense this season. I don't see anyone in the Raiders secondary who can match his physicality. Take the Over.
Many are down on the Packers' passing game heading into the season. The Vikings' secondary has plenty of issues, so I expect Rodgers to clear this number, even with a new cast of receivers.
The Vikings are more vulnerable up front to a power-rushing attack. If I select one Packers back to hit their over--it is AJ Dillon.
We have heard the drumbeat all off-season that the Vikings want to get their backs involved more out of the backfield as receivers. I will buy into the preseason narrative and take the Over.
I don't like the Titans' offense heading into 2022. Vegas does not either, which is why this number is depressed. The Titans will have to throw more than usual in this one. Take the Over.
I am buying in on the rejuvenated Giants offense under Brian Daboll. Take the Over.
Saquon Barkley has been utilized in space relentlessly this off-season. I expect the trend to continue as he eclipses this number. Take the Over.
The Titans' offensive line is not the strength that it once was. The Giants' front seven is no longer a push-over. The Giants contain Derrick Henry in this one. Take the Under.
