College Football is on fire early in the season! Several teams are staking their claim as the top program in the land. Georgia's stifling defense is back! Alabama provides the offensive firepower mixed with a dominant defense. Meanwhile, Oklahoma has entered the chat.
Another week in the books! Another week where we turned a profit!
We move along to Week Four, where there are several intriguing match-ups. Without further adieu, let's dive in!
(If you need to know where to bet, find sportsbook options in your state HERE.)
The Syracuse Orangemen have been wildly impressive in the early season. Sean Tucker is a next-level running back that keeps their offense on schedule. Coming into the season, the thought that Virginia would be more dynamic on offense, and that hasn't played out. Take Syracuse at home.
Michigan has been favored by 50+ points the last few weeks in their annual tune-ups. I took the points in those contests due to the gross margin. As 17-point favorites, this line is much more to my liking. Maryland can't keep up with Michigan for four quarters. Take the Wolverines.
I was down on the Clemson program coming into the season. Thus far, the Tigers have proven to be much more prolific than I gave them credit. Wake Forest has been shaky, and their offense has not been as dynamic as the version we saw in 2021. Take the Tigers on the road to get it done.
I was all over Penn State last week against Auburn, and they did not disappoint. Football is about emotions, and it is tough to get up for Central Michigan after playing Auburn. Penn State wins, but four touchdowns are too much to give. Take Central Michigan to cover.
I like what I have seen from the Baylor Bear program in 2022. The bears should be the favorites in this one. I wouldn't mind sprinkling a little on the Money Line. Take Baylor.
Malik Cunningham and the Cardinal offense are too potent for South Florida to slow down. Take Louisville.
Georgia dominates in so many ways. I don't recommend taking the favorite on 45-point spreads often, but in this case, I cannot resist. Take the Bulldogs.
The Colorado program is in shambles. UCLA has too much firepower to contend with for four quarters. Take Chip Kelly and the Bruins.
We have swung the pendulum from overrating Florida to underrating the Gators. Tennessee is the better team, but not by two scores. Take Florida to cover on the road.
We have been fooled before, but the Texas Longhorn program seems to be on firm ground for the 1st time in a long time. This week is the type of game that past Texas teams have faltered. I'm betting that things are different this time around. Hook 'em horns.
Oregon was impressive last week in their win over BYU. The Ducks keep the momentum going this week as they outlast the Cougars.
Kentucky has the looks of a top ten team in college football, and they mean to stay there. The Wildcats won't overlook Northern Illinois. Take Kentucky to win big.
Wisconsin doesn't have the offense to keep pace with the Buckeyes. Ohio State is ramping up and won't slow down in this one. Take Ohio State.
Alabama has way too much talent on both sides of the ball for this game to be remotely close. It will be a pitch-and-catch afternoon for Bryce Young and the Alabama receivers. Take the Crimson Tide.
The National media and the betting community have not caught up to how dominant Oklahoma has been this year. The Sooners are not receiving their just due. Oklahoma rolls over Kansas State in this one.
Annually the USC program is hyped up and then falls on its' face. This year is different. Lincoln Riley has embraced the hype, and the Trojans are exceeding expectations. USC continues to roll against the Beavers.
BYU finds a nice bounce-back spot against a Wyoming team that does not stand a chance. Take BYU.
