Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...
UPDATED HR RECORD: 13-36 +$383.00
Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

We are taking some shots on longer odds today, starting with Corbin Carroll against Drew Rucinski. Rucinski has really struggled against left-handed hitters in his return to the MLB – allowing a .300 ISO in the split. Carroll is among the leaders for the NL Rookie of the Year award, making the Diamondbacks early deal handed out to him look like a bargain. He does have power against right-handed pitchers, and the great news is that the A’s bullpen is so bad he still has a strong chance to get there even if he doesn’t get one off Rucinski. Arizona has one of the highest team totals on the slate tonight, and I will continue to pick on their starters / bullpen with HR props.
Yelich comes in at the nice price of +680 despite his bat starting to heat up, he hit three homeruns in two games over the weekend. Milwaukee matches up with a guy I’ve been fading all season in Jack Flaherty. Flaherty is allowing a .236 ISO to lefties this season, so I think there is value on both Yelich and Rowdy Tellez tonight. Yelich matches up well against his pitch mix, and has multiple homeruns off Flaherty in his career – those coming when Jack was a much better pitcher than he is right now.
