MLB Betting 5/17/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 13-39 +$323.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Randy Arozarena +500 (0.2u)

We have a smaller Wednesday slate of games resulting in just one HR picks...our boy Randy Arozarena. We have cashed Randy HR's multiple times this season, and I'm willing to go back to the well against Kodai Senga. Senga started out really hot this season for the Mets, but has struggled with his command and that has led to inconsistent results. He's surrendered five HR's in his last five starts, and there's nobody on the Rays with more pop than Arozarena. We know about Senga's nasty ghostfork pitch, but he relies heavily on his fastball to set that pitch up. He's throwing it almost 60% of the time -- while Randy has monster power numbers against the pitch. Tampa has seen their team total rise throughout the day, and I think we could see more offense than expected in this spot.
