MLB Betting 6/7/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 15-52 +$215.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Elly De La Cruz +440 (0.2u)

De La Cruz looked the part in his major league debut last night, batting clean-up and going 1-3 with two walks. His first major league hit came in his second AB, in which he roped a 112 mph double off Tony Gonsolin. It was obvioulsy nice to see that kind of exit velo from him, but what impressed me most was how quick his hands are. He was around 3/1 to hit a homerun last night, and we are getting him at +440 in a better match-up on Wednesday. It's been no secret how bad Noah Syndergaard is this season, and he's given up seven homeruns to left-handed hitters in 2023. It feels like only a matter of time before De La Cruz mashes his first longball, and he won't get a better spot to do it in than tonight.
