MLB Betting 6/9/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 16-52 +$303.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Gary Sanchez +360 (0.2u)

I didn't know a Gary Sanchez renaissance was in the cards for the 2023 MLB season, but here we are. Sanchez has been on fire since being brought into the Padres clubhouse, and is now fully entrenched in a middle of the order spot in what should be one of the best offenses in baseball. Sanchez has four homeruns in 37 at-bats for the Padres, including two of them coming in his last three games. San Diego has one of the best match-ups on the board tonight against the left-handed Austin Gomber in Coors Field. +360 feels like great value considering how Sanchez has been swinging the bat, especially when we bake in the Coors bump. Sanchez ranks top-30 over the last 7 days with a 50% fly-ball rate, to go along with a 41% hard-hit rate. He's hitting the ball hard and in the air frequently, and has always shown power against left-handed pitching.
