MLB Betting 6/15/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 17-53 +$355.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Sean Murphy +370 (0.2u)

Murphy and the Braves are in one of the best offensive spots tonight, matched up with Kyle Freeland. Freeland is savvy enough to post some decent starts from time to time, but he's also out-performing his xERA by almost a full run which means some regression is headed his way. He's allowing a .336 wOBA and .217 ISO against right-handed hitters this season, which puts him in a tough spot tonight as Atlanta will look to stuff in seven righties against him. One of those righties will be Sean Murphy, who matches up every well against Freeland's pitch mix. Not only does Murphy own well over a .200 ISO against left-handed pitching, but he also features similar numbers against both fourseam fastballs and sinkers -- Freeland's two most-used pitches. I believe there to be value on multiple Braves homerun props tonight, with Ozzie Albies at +400 also sticking out.
