MLB Betting 6/26/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 18-57 +$369.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Adolis Garcia +350 (0.2u)

We have a small MLB slate on tap Monday night, that puts the Texas Rangers in one of the best offensive spots. Texas has the highest implied team total on the board tonight (5.4 runs) and will have ample opportunity for runs against Matt Boyd and the Tigers bullpen. Boyd has been a serviceable for the Tigers this season, but has still allowed 10 homeruns, nine of which have some to right-handed hitters. Texas will be able to stuff in seven right-handed hitters tonight, making it an extremely tough match-up for Boyd individually. Of those righties, few have more power than Adolis Garcia who matches up against Boyd's pitch-mix as well as any player on the Rangers. You'll see a lot of fastball / slider from Boyd, two pitches that Garcia owns over a .200 ISO against. Futhermore, he has been locked in at the plate ranking top-ten in the league in barrel rate over the last seven days. There is value on a number of Rangers HR props tonight, with Garcia, Jonah Heim and Leodys Taveras leading the way for me.
