MLB Betting 7/18/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! Anthony Santander +300 (0.2u)

I told everyone yesterday I was ready to start up another HR streak, and we ended up cashing the +500 Ezequil Duran HR! That puts us above $500 profit for the season, and the plan is to grow that to at least $650 before the season ends. It's Dinger Tuesday on FanDuel tonight, and I'm going with Anthony Santander as my HR pick, matched up against Michael Grove. Santander has been in great form for the Orioles, leading the team in barrel rate (24%) over the last 14 days. He also has been one of the best hitters in this lineup against RHP this season, sporting a .227 ISO the second-highest mark on the team. Grove is much worse against lefties than righties, so it's advantageous that Santy will be hitting from the left side. He matches up very well against Grove's pitch mix, and I'm comfortable backing him at 3/1 on Tuesday night.
