MLB Betting 7/20/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 22-65 +$522.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Kerry Carpenter +440 (0.2u)

We unfortunately didn't extend the streak on Tuesday, but we remain over $500 profit for the season! I have a sick addiction to betting on the Detroit Tigers, and will be doing so again today against Zack Grienke. Carpenter has been the Tigers best hitter against RHP this season, sporting a team-high .243 ISO. He also has been locked in at the plate recently, ranking top-20 in all of baseball in both barrel-rate and hard-hit% over the last 14 days. Grienke is a shell of his former self, and while he is capable of some quality starts still he has also allowed 6 HR over his last four games. Overall, I think there is value on multiple Tigers hitters today -- but Carpenter at nearly 5/1 takes the cake.
