MLB Betting 7/31/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...

UPDATED HR RECORD: 22-66 +$502.00

Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

Gary Sanchez +370 (0.2u)

What's going on everyone! I am back from my summer vacation and ready to finish out the MLB season strong as we head into NFL season. Tonight, I'm looking at Gary Sanchez to hit a HR in Coors Field. I have already hit on multiple Sanchez HR props this season, and he's been one of my favorite players to target during his comeback season with the Padres. No decision has been made from SD on whether or not they will sell of Josh Hader at the deadline, and they absolutely need to win games ASAP. They match up with Austin Gomber tonight, who has struggled for the Rockies this season. He's allowing over a .200 ISO to both sides of the plate this season, while Sanchez owns a team-high .340 ISO against LHP since joining the team. He's a fastball hitter, which is great news considering Gomber will throw his heater almost 50% of the time. I love this spot for the Padres, and believe there to be value on multiple players to go long tonight.
