MLB Betting 8/1/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! Luis Robert +360 (0.2u)

Robert has only homered once in his last 10 games, but this is a great spot for him to get back on track against the left-handed Andrew Heaney. Heaney has struggled with right-handed power bats for his entire career, and the story has been no different in 2023 allowing a .220 ISO in the split. Meanwhile, Robert has absolutely assaulted lefty pitching to the tune of a .298 ISO himself -- a top-12 mark in baseball. He matches up very well against Heaney's pitch mix -- carrying a .269 ISO against fastballs. Heaney has allowed 18 of his 19 HR's allowed to righties this season -- and I think both Robert and Jake Burger are strong HR bets on Tuesday night.
