Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! If you're interested in all of my MLB betting and prop picks, plus access to our PrizePicks Predictor, you can sign-up by clicking HERE. With that being said, let's dive in...
UPDATED HR RECORD: 24-68 +$640.00
Note: This unit scale is $100 = 1 unit.

McMahon had a big double, but didn't leave the yard for us in our last article so we are back looking to start up a new streak! Tonight, I'm looking at Jake Bauers at 4/1 in a tough on paper match-up against Dylan Cease. Cease is a good pitcher, but he hasn't been the best version of himself in 2023 and it's clear the way to attack him is with left-handed hitters. More importantly, Bauers has been locked in at the plate and that's mostly why I'm interested here. Bauers ranks 9th in baseball over the last 14 days with a 24% barrel-rate -- and he also owns the second-highest ISO on the Yankees vs RHP this season behind only Aaron Judge. He matches up very well vs Cease as a fastball hitter - Cease throws his heater over 50% of the time and that happens to be Bauers' best pitch. Overall, I like the recent form and believe there to be value tonight at 4/1 odds.
