MLB Betting 8/18/23 - HR Predictor

Welcome in to a new article for 2023...the HR Predictor! This will be a daily article, where I use my own research to highlight a few names I think are in a great position to hit a homerun on each days slate! These are low unit bets -- between 0.1 and 0.3 units -- with typically high-odds and we will only need to hit one or two a week to make some money! Bryce Harper +340 (0.2u)

Philly is on one of the top offensive spots tonight sporting a 5.3 team total against Joan Adon, and Bryce is exactly who I want to buy into right now. Harper has been dialed in as of late - ranking first-overall in the MLB in barrel-rate over the last 14 days (33%). It took him some time returning from injury, but he's found his swing and looks set-up for a massive close to the season. Adon is not a very good pitcher against left-handed hitters allowing over a .220 ISO in the split. He throws a lot of curve-balls -- which Harper decimates. It's one of his best pitches in terms of power. Overall, I love the form he's been in and this is someone I'm going to be heavily invested in over the next few weeks in terms of props and DFS.
