NFL Week 15 - Danny's Best Bets

Danny Carpenter

The process was correct but the results were not.

Tried and proven method when putting on the bettor’s cap.

Last week I fell short of a winning week as Seattle couldn’t keep up with San Francisco’s scoring to miss my over 46.5 points call, and Philadelphia kept turning the ball over vs. Dallas, limiting CeeDee Lamb’s upside for receptions. I had him over 7.5 receptions and he finished with 6.

The beauty of betting where you see the path to righteousness but it veers off course.

Onto a new week!

Last Week: 2-3 (.400)

Overall: 36-33-1 (.521)

Now onto NFL Week 15 – Danny’s Best Bets.

Pittsburgh at Indianapolis

Pittsburgh +2.5 on Caesars Sportsbook

I completely understand why the Colts are favored as Mitch Trubisky and the Steelers offense was awful last week.

But Pittsburgh has owned Indianapolis in recent years.

The Steelers are on an 8-game win streak vs. the Colts with the winning margin of 11.5 in those eight games.

Plus, the public is all over Indianapolis.

Atlanta at Carolina

Bijan Robinson over 61.5 yards rushing on BetRivers

The Falcons had their way running the ball vs. the Panthers in their Week 1 matchup.

But since that matchup Bijan has finally taken over the majority of the touches in the Atlanta backfield. He has played 60 percent or more of the snaps in six games.

Plus, the Panthers continue to be in the bottom third of the league vs. the run.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay

Jordan Love over 246.5 yards passing on BetRivers

Yes, Love looked awful in the Packers’ Monday Night loss to the NY Giants, but in his four games prior, he was averaging 286.5 yards passing.

The Buccaneers are a bottom 3 team vs. the pass, allowing 264.1 yards a game. And their average on the road is worse at 298.9 yards a game.

Love will enough receivers healthy to take advantage of Tampa’s pass funnel defense.

NY Giants at New Orleans

Over 39 on DraftKings

Let’s look at the pros for this game.

  1. Dome game
  2. Two non-division opponents
  3. Seven out of their last 10 matchups has scored more than 39 points.

And we cannot forget their crazy 2015 matchup where the two teams combined for 101 points. In that game, Eli Manning and Drew Brees combined to throw 13 TD passes.

Washington at LA Rams

Over 49 on Caesars Sportsbook

There is no history that we will see a lot points in this game, but both team’s passing defenses are giving more than 250 yards a game in each of their last three.

The Rams’ Matthew Stafford has averaged 248 yards passing and thrown 10 TDs since returning from injury four games ago, and Washington continues to throw at the highest clip in the league, averaging 39.2 attempts a game.

And this game is in the comfy confines of SoFi Stadium.
