It has been a roller coaster the last month for my Best Bets.
I squeezed my Week 16 4-1 mark between another 1-4 week to fall back to .500 for the season.
Talking with AC this week and we agreed, this betting thing is tough, especially NFL betting.
But this is why we watch the games, play DFS and play fantasy football – the thrill of the win.
This week’s Best Bets I’m giving us a little sweat on Saturday, in the 1 p.m. games, in the 4:25 p.m. games and the Sunday season finale.
Last Week: 1-4 (.200)
Overall: 42-42-1 (.500)

Now onto NFL Week 18 – Danny’s Best Bets.
Win and you’re in!
The winner earns a spot in the AFC playoffs with a possible chance of an AFC South title and a first-round home game if Jacksonville loses to Tennessee.
So I expect plenty of offensive fireworks in this game.
The two teams have scored 47 or more points in four of their last five matchups in Indianapolis while the Colts have averaged more than 30 points in those five games.
The Lions have an outside chance of earning the No. 2 seed with a win and losses by Dallas and Philadelphia.
But that is not that long of a longshot as the Vikings have to making the NFC playoffs.
The Vikings have two scenarios for making the playoffs: A win and a Green Bay loss and a Seattle loss and a Tampa Bay loss OR a win and a Green Bay loss and a Seattle loss and a New Orleans loss.
Both teams’ offenses should be pushing for at least a half or three quarters.
Plus, the two have combined for more than 45.5 points in six of their last seven matchups.
A.J. Dillon is already declared out for this game so Jones should see the majority of the touches in the Green Bay backfield.
In his three games where he had more than 20 touches, Jones has crushed this number. He has averaged 121.3 yards rushing and receiving in those three games.
And the Packers are playing for a playoff spot and still have injuries in their receiving corps.
Since the Cardinals’ Week 14 bye, Murray has surpassed 259.5 yards combined passing and rushing in two of the three games. He has averaged 259.3 combined yards.
Now he faces a team he has had success piling up numbers.
In his last three matchups vs. the Seahawks, Murray has averaged 212.3 yards passing and 65 yards rushing.
And Seattle just gave up 266 yards passing to Pittsburgh’s Mason Rudolph.
With their playoff lives on the line, the Bills face the perfect matchup for their quarterback Josh Allen.
Allen has been a pain for Miami since he’s entered the league.
This will be Allen’s 12th matchup vs. the Dolphins, and he has thrown for at least 2 TDs in every game vs. Miami.
Miami enters the game as a home underdog and has a bunch of injuries on both sides of the ball. Allen may have his way again.
