I finally has some fun in this crazy PGA Tour season.
Despite being short on time with last week’s Wednesday start, I was not able to write my Bets to Win story. However, I posted my five plays in our regular PGA-dfs-chat channel on Discord and it was great sweat on Sunday.
Four of my five picks made the cut and Tony Finau and Matthieu Pavon were in the hunt on Sunday.
Pavon eventually held off Nicolai Hojgaard to win the Farmers Insurance Open by one stroke. Finau made an early run Sunday but fell back with a T6.
I have a good feeling the craziness continues this week as favorites have failed to win the first four events.

Onto AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Bet to Win Picks:
Xander checks all the boxes for this week’s event.
He ranks in the Top 30 in 8 of the 11 statistical categories I used on my spreadsheet this week.
His strong all-around play will be needed if the weather conditions worsen during the tournament.
If I had to pick my favorite golfer to win this week, it would be Poston.
Most know Poston is deadly with a hot putter, but what makes him stand out this week is his play around the greens.
Pebble Beach has 118 sand traps with most surrounding the greens. Poston is a Top 20 golfer in SG: around the green and SG: sand saves percentage.
Benny is my second favorite play.
He has used his all-around play to come into the week as the top golfer on my weekly spreadsheet.
He is in Top 20 in seven of the 11 statistical categories I used for this event.
I know this is an elevated event with one of the strongest fields in recent Pebble Beach history, but why is Todd’s at 90/1.
He finished T2 last year at the event, which was played through tough weather conditions.
He checks all the right boxes on my spreadsheet to make another strong run.
I reviewed by spreadsheet from last week and Glover has all the makings of what Pavon did last weekend.
He is Top 10 in the consistency section on my spreadsheet, Top 10 in course fit and Top 10 in roster value. Pavon was Top 10 last week in all three sections.
And Glover has proven he can win in a big event, winning the FedEx St. Jude Championship last year.
