I had a fantastic Tuesday night betting in college basketball with my full betting card profiting over 3 units. Of course, however, we dropped the article play with me writing up one of my only losing plays on the day. Tennessee couldn't score to start the game, and it allowed the Gamecocks to dictate the pace of the game, leading to an upset of the Voluneteers. Let's see if we can get back on track tonight...

Edey and the Boilermakers host the Northwestern Wildcats on Wednesday night in Mackey Arena. NW has upset Purdue each of the last two times they've faced off, but it's important to remember both of those games were home for NW in Evanston, IL. Reading the tea leaves a bit here, it's telling that Purdue has lost the last two match-ups but are laying 13.5 points tonight. I fully expect a Purdue romp on Wednesday, but instead of betting on the spread (which I still like) I like the odds on this Edey-centric SGP. NW, like most teams, has 0 answers for Edey in the post and he's going to be able to do whatever he wants offensively. Over the last two losses to NW, he has scored 35 and 24 points. The rebounding should be no issue either -- he posted 14 boards against them earlier this season and is averaging over 11 per game this season. He's also topped 10+ boards in every home conference game. 

Overall, I'm completely fine backing Purdue on the spread, or even alt-spreading them up a bit. That being said, I can't pass up -125 odds on this parlay then it's close to -150 on DKSB.
