St. Johns +9.5 -110

We got hoooked in overtime last night by the Boston College Eagles - and I'm focused on another underdog today. This is the best game of the day in my opinion. There's nothing better than Big East basketball in the Garden and we have two coaches squaring off that aren't very fond of each other. These two teams played in December at MSG - which resulted in just a four point win for the Huskies. UConn is much better than they were then, but I also think the Johnnies are as well. 

Rick Pitino called out his team publicly to the media on February 19th for basically being bad at basketball. Since that loss to Seton Hall on the 18th, they've rallied off 6 straight wins including a big one over Creighton and a revenge game against Seton Hall yesterday. You have to be able to score to compete with UConn and St. Johns can do just that. They're a top 30 offensive team per KenPom - and they are fresh off a 91 point outburst yesterday. 

Overall, if you're giving me that best coach in the country as a 9.5 point dog in his home building I'm probably going to take it. Let's back the Johnnies to stay hot in a close game vs the best team in the nation.
