Tyler O'Neill +430

We've had a couple close calls this season, and tonight I'm looking at our old friend Tyler O'Neill to go long. O'Neill has been one of my favorite targets in recent years, and he's off to a hot start in 2023 with two homers in five games played. Tonight's match-up couldn't get any better for him either, facing off with Alex Wood. Wood is a journeyman pitcher at this point, and allowed six earned runs in his Opening Day start, though none came via the longball. That could change tonight against the power of O'Neill who posted a .212 ISO vs LHP last season. More importantly, he absolutely demolishes sinkers which happens to be Wood's most-used pitch. O'Neill put up video game-like numbers against sinkers last season and he's hit the pitch extremely well for his entire career.

O'Neill is someone that I like to ride when he's seeing the ball well and that's clearly the case with two homers already this season. It's not a great park for HR's in Oakland, but he has more than enough power to get it out and this is one of the best possible match-ups he could see. I'm backing him to go yard on Dinger Tuesday and I think taking his over 1.5 TB's is good as well at +110 odds.
