And we are back!
I broke even last year with my Danny’s Best Bets. The 4-1 finish in Week 18 was nice way to cap the season. I finished last year with a 46-43-1 (.517) record, and I’m looking to improve.
Just like last year, I will be providing bets on the spreads, over/unders and individual player props.
Well, enough with the greetings let’s go into the important parts, sponsors and picks!

Now onto NFL Week 1 – Danny’s Best Bets.
The Giants and MetLife Stadium will see a familiar face under center for the Vikings – Sam Darnold.
The journeyman QB secured the starting spot after rookie J.J. McCarthy, his biggest challenger, suffered a season-ending injury in preseason.
Darnold does have his most complete surrounding weapons on offense in his career, but the Giants were a much better team at home last season, at least on the defensive side of the ball.
The Giants recorded 13 sacks in their last four home games last season and getting pressure on Darnold is key.
I think the sportsbooks, who have Engram’s line this low, are completely wrong.
He had 44 or more receiving yards in 72 percent of his games last season, and the Dolphins’ biggest defensive weakness is at linebacker.
Plus, Miami’s new defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is from the Rex Ryan coaching tree, which means plenty of blitzes on defense.
I’m going with another home dog with the Colts.
Both teams have young and up-and-coming talent, but the oddmakers may be ahead of themselves with this line with the C.J. Stroud hype.
The Texans have only covered a minus-3 line once in their last five visits to the Lucas Oil Stadium, and this includes three losses.
I think the oddsmakers are giving new Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh too much credit.
The Chargers have a re-made offense and a hobbled Justin Herbert. He has battled a foot injury during training camp.
The Raiders return one of the top pass rushes in the league, and if the Chargers can’t get the re-vamped running game going, it will be a long home opener.
This is purely based on my spreadsheet I use for DFS.
Walker is one my top plays and the Broncos did nothing to improve their bad rush defense.
Denver went offense in the draft, taking quarterback Bo Nix in the first round.
And it appears the new Seattle coaching staff wants Walker to be the primary ball carrier this season.
