What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Prop Bets article. In this article I will be outlining one of my favorite Prop bets of the day. We had two games get cancelled already today so we have a condensed schedule tonight compared to what we were expecting.

Zach Davies (Padres) OVER 2.5 Strikeouts -139 1units:

I really don’t like the pitching on this slate so I am reducing my units bet, we are just rolling out a 1 unit bet today. Compared to teh normal 2 units. Bankroll Management is key for long term success in sports betting. Zach Davies is another 2.5 strikeout over I like on back to back days. Graveman I loved yesterday and he managed 7 strikeouts before being pulled at the end of the 4th. He even hit his total at the end of the first inning while he struck out the side. Davies has a good matchup against the Giants for his first pitching outing of the season. There is worry he will be pulled early if he doesn’t get going so the short leash leads him to a very low floor and little room for error. Which, my worry is then down played a little by a majority of the public betting the under on the game total. Meaning we aren’t expecting a ton of runs with the Giants having an implied total of only 3 runs. He has a low K% and even lower vs lefties which is only at 13% for lefties compared to 17% for righties. The advantage he does have is the matchup where 6 batters have a k% of over 21%. Last year Davies had a 5.7 K/9 rate. He will need to get to 4+ innings to reach this mark. With the low total I don’t see him getting pulled early enough to make us lose this prop.
