Gerrit Cole UNDER 9.5 Strikeouts -157 2units (Yankees):

Cole is one of the top pitchers in the league but 10 Strikeouts is just too much for him to achieve tonight against the Orioles. I may be alone on this one but I am sticking to it. If it was 8.5 or 7.5 I would be leaning over. His K% is one of the tops in the league and we have seen him consistently go over this mark in years past. He even got the luxury of not throwing a full game his first game out due to a rain delay. So, Joey why are you going under on him when all signs point to the over? The Baltimore Bats have been great this year. This lineup features only 2 high K% players in the lineup. As a team the Orioles are 29th in k% which means they have the second least amount of strikes allowed. They have also struckout the least amount of times. They have the 4th highest contact % this year of any team. They are also in the bottom third in swstr% which is swing and a miss %. The Orioles may be big under dogs in this game but they will still make contact with the ball and reduce the amount of Ks for Cole.
