Joey's MLB Prop Bets Friday 07/31

WNBA Record: 6-6 -1.7 units (Rough day yesterday for easy bets)

Mike Clevinger UNDER 6.5 Ks 2 units +117 (Indians): Unfortunately, our 5 prop winning streak had to come to an end yesterday but today is a new day and a new day means a new opportunity to start a new streak! I’m surprised Draftkings is giving the under at +117 but I’ll take it. Clevinger has one start on the season where he pitched for 7 innings for 6 strikeouts. Clevenger has a crazy high 33.9% K% going up against Minnesota that has a k% of 21%. He is projected to finish 5 innings and only 5.5 Ks per our Data expert Luke. That k% plummets when facing lefties compared to righties. He has a k% of 27% for lefties and a 40% k% against righties. He will be going up against 5 lefties and 2 switch hitters. So most likely a majority of the lineup will be against lefties. Clevinger has a 11.5 k/9. So if he only goes 5 innings he will be right around 6 Ks on average and with the amount of lefties in the lineup tonight he should fall well below that average.
