What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Prop Bets article. In this article I will be outlining one of my favorite Prop bets of the day. To find my other prop bets and all of the other staff’s favorite bets make sure to sign up for the MLB Premium package.

MLB Record: 6-1 +7.33 units (We are starting the streak again!)

WNBA Record: 6-6 -1.7 units

NBA Restart Record: 1-2 -1.43 units (Foul Trouble and Blowout killed my two props yesterday)

All Prop lines are based on Draftkings Sportsbook. Lines may vary based on time you are reading this or if you are using a different bookie.

Yusei Kikuchi UNDER 4.5 Ks -130 2 units to win 3.54 units (Seattle): Kikuchi struggled in his first start on the season. Pitching 3.2 innings and recording 4 strikeouts. He also had a WHIP of 2.4. He had a tough matchup going up against the Astros who have been riding hot bats all season. He has another tough matchup tonight against the As. They feature only 4 batters with high k%, while having 8 Righties which is what Kikuchi struggles with. He has a K% of 19.3% against lefties and only 15.5% against righties. The As are also in the top half of the league in contact% and bottom half of the league in SwStr% per fangraphs. Meaning they are getting contact on the balls a lot and not missing when they swing. They are also right in the middle of the league in allowing the first pitch to be a strike. So, they aren’t consistently putting themselves in the hole, leading to more strikeouts. Our data expert Luke and our new partners SaberSim have him projected right around the same a 3.35 Ks.
