AB's B-Ball Bets (8/02/20)

We had a solid day yesterday cashing our under total for the LAL v TOR game. Let’s dig into tonight’s marquee matchup where I’ll be outlining my favorite bet of the day. You can find all our bets through our NBA Premium Package.

 

Milwaukee Bucks (-210) vs Houston Rockets (+175) O/U 242.5

This is surely to be the match of the night as we have a banger on our hands between the 1st seed Bucks out of the East battling it out against the Rockets who have already clinched a playoff berth but need to pick up some wins to move up in the standings as they are currently sitting as the 6th seed out West.

These two teams met back in October which finished in a Bucks win on the back of an ABC triple double. Rosters are slightly different now as Houston is running a small ball lineup now that Capela has departed to Atlanta. The Bucks will also be without their starting point guard in Eric Bledsoe, although that didn’t seem to matter much in their first game of the restart as Middleton took over ball handling duties.

ABC should be able to drive to the rim at any time and get whatever look he wants, specially with this smaller Houston lineup. He has the athleticism to 1v1 versus anyone on this Houston team and should be able to rack up the peripheral stats. On the other hand, the Beard looks like he’s on a mission to put this team on his back and get them to the conference finals. He also happens to have the help of RWB should the Bucks want to take the ball out of his hands like the Mavs attempted to do a couple nights ago.

The Bucks have a very sound defense that should be able to get out to shooters and box out to collect boards limiting second shot opportunities for Houston.
