AB's B-Ball Bets 8/04/20

What’s up Karma Nation! We are back at it tonight with another 6-game slate with a couple spots I think we can attack. Last night was a bit unfortunate as the Lakers were able to cover the 6.5-point spread, however, did it on the back of a monster performance by AD where he put up 42 points single handedly ruining our under 217.5 game total. It was a close competitive game in the 1st half, and the Lakers just stepped on the gas pedal a bit in the second half to clinch the top seed out West. Let’s dig into tonight’s matchups where I’ll be outlining my favorite bet of the day. You can find all our bets through our NBA Premium Package.

 

Orlando Magic (-120) vs Indiana Pacers (EVEN) O/U 225.5

Have you guys been watching TJ Warren ball these last couple games? I think he might have found a secret elixir or the fountain of youth because he has put up 34 and a career high 53 points the last two games. Yesterday we saw Malcolm Brogdon return to the starting lineup after sitting out the first game with a neck issue and proceeded to get a full allotment of minutes clocking in 35, it’s safe to assume the Pacers do not have any concerns about his health. Tonight, we are supposed to see the much-anticipated return of Victor Oladipo, although the team has been vague about their plans for their starting SG/SF aside from saying they want to play it safe. What we do know is that Oladipo will not be playing on back to back games, so the fact that he didn’t play last night gives us a strong indication that we’ll see him suit up tonight. This team is slowly starting to get back to full health and will be a contender out in the East, currently sitting as the 5th seed.   

On the other side of this match we have a strong defensive team in the Magic who are coming off two victories in their first two matches since the restart. Take the word “defense” with a grain of salt as they have given up 116 and 118 points in those two matches.

Both teams are riding hot, but I’ll put my money on the Pacers who I feel are the better sound team.
