What’s up Karma Nation! I’m back with this weekend’s B-Ball Bets article, and I’m looking to get back on the horse after a couple tough losses last week. We have a full-day NBA slate with some potential bangers so let’s dive into my favorite bet of the day. You can find all our bets through our NBA Premium Package.

Los Angeles Clippers (+150) vs Portland Trail Blazers (-170) O/U 231

We start off the day with a fantastic matchup between the 2nd seed Clippers against the 9th seed Blazers. The Clippers will be monitoring one of their stars in Kawhi Leonard by giving him a day off today. PG13 will be doing all the heavy lifting today but I’m not sure Doc will want to run him out there for 35+ minutes, especially if they go down double digits coming down the stretch. The other role player I’m a bit concerned about is Sweat Lou, as it appears they’ve been monitoring his minutes, whether it’s because he isn’t properly conditioned or if they just want to keep him fresh for the playoffs is anyone’s guess. With Pat Bev being sidelined as well as Montrezl and now Kawhi, all of a sudden we can see why the Clippers are dogs in this one.

Portland has a lot to play for as they sit a game behind the Grizzlies for the 8th and final spot in the playoffs. As we have seen from Portland since they arrived in Orlando, they’re treating these games as do or die running their stars out there for all the minutes they can handle and have gone 4-1 since the restart. Dame Dolla has been extremely impressive putting up a 45-point double double in their last match against the Nuggets. He should have another fairly easy matchup on his hands with Pat Bev watching from the bench. The role players in Portland have all been taking care of business as well as Nurkic has been getting back into form and should get all the minutes he can handle today with Whiteside sitting this one out due to a left hip strain. This Portland team should have a ton of motivation as they have everything to play for and will be facing a Clippers team that’s not at 100%.

Wager 2.2 units on Portland -3.5 (-110) to win 2 units

2020 NBA Season Record 4-5 (- 0.7 units)
