Joey's NBA Prop Bets Thursday 09/03

Jayson Tatum NO Double-Double -143 2 units to win 1.40 units: Tatum has been playing out of this world these playoffs, averaging 27.3 PPG and 9.3 RPG on 37 MPG. He has been asked to do a ton to help these Celtics make a push to the Championship. Now this the Bucks struggling we could see the Celtics come out of the East. They haven’t even lost a game yet. Tatum will not be getting a double double tonight. This prop is basically an under 9.5 rebounds which is amazing value because he has yet to record 10 assists this season. Tatum has gone over 10 rebounds 10 times this season. His rebounding% has been way higher in the playoffs compared to regular season. He has a rebounding percentage of 11.6% in the playoffs while only 9.6% in the regular season. Karma projections have him at 7.5 rebounds so 2.5 rebounds under what he needs to get a double double. Tatum isn't going to wow you with his rebounding upside. With Theis on the floor and Hayward off the floor Tatum is only averaging 6.65 rebounds per 36 minutes. You can play the under 8.5 rebounds for -120 but I'm going with the safer play tonight betting on him not to record a triple double.
