Joey's MLB Prop Bets Wednesday 09/23

What’s up Karma Nation! Welcome to another edition of my Prop Bets article. In this article I will be outlining one of my favorite Prop bets of the day. To find my other prop bets and all of the other staff’s favorite bets make sure to sign up for the Premium package.

Zack Grieke OVER 5.5 Ks +105 1.5 units to win 1.57 units: Grieke has been a lot better since the start of the season where he looked very rusted and injured still. Outside of game one where he only pitched 3 innings, he has gone over 5 innings every game and has averaged a little over 1 K per inning. Tonight, he will have an easy matchup against the Seattle hitters. Grieke has a 23.5% K% on the season while the Mariners batters have a 24.3% K%. Righties have a combined 29% K% while lefties have a 19% k%. He throws a whiff percentage of 27% for changeups and sliders and a Whiff% of 31% with his curve ball. These pitches have tripped up the Mariners all season and should continue tonight. All but one righties (France) has a contact % below 55% against Sliders. We don’t have to worry much about the lefties contact % because he throws a slider to righties 27% of the time compared to lefties at only 5%. On the flip side he throws a changeup to lefties 32% of the time compared to 5% for righties. The lefties for Seattle have a combined contact % of 66% and only one of them has a contact % above this average. Grieke should have an easy time getting through the order tonight.
