Teddy Bridgewater OVER 280.5 passing yards -118 1.18 units to win 1 unit: Bridgewater has looked fantastic this season. He is averaging 275 passing yards per game, including two 300-yard games. He will be facing the top pass funnel team in the league tonight. Atlanta is allowing a league high 78% of all yards through the air this year. This is surprising for a team that is 1-6, but we all know that the Falcons have blown way too many leads this season. Leading to negative game script for most teams, even though they end up winning the game. We also see that the Panthers rank 12th in % of the teams’ total yards as passing yards, with 71%. This is 4% higher than the league average of 67% The Falcons are allowing 333 passing yards per game, while never allowing a team to pass for less than 300 yards in a game this season. The Falcons are also allowing the most Yards after catch this season, which correlates nicely with how Bridgewater plays. He ranks 8th in the league with 6.0 yards after catch per completion. Even though Bridgewater has low air yards, his receivers make up for it after the catch. With two of his main targets being DJ Moore and runningbacks this explains a lot. Bridgewater should have an easy time slicing through this defense. As only a 2-point favorite in this game, the Panthers should still be throwing all game. Plus, if this game goes how every Falcons game goes, as long as he has 240 yards going into the final drive and losing, he will easily go over.
