Joey's NFL Primetime Props 12/07/20

Nick Mullens over 250.5 passing yards -112 1.12 units to win 1.00 units: Mullens has been great this season through the air. Not that he is better than Jimmy G but for fantasy and stats he is usually better. Jimmy is more of a game manager while Mullens isn’t afraid to sling the ball and try to rack up a ton of yards. He has started five games this season and is averaging 266 passing yards per game. He has gone over this total in three of those five games and in games, he threw at least 30 times he had over 247 in all four of those games.

Mullens gets a nice matchup boast tonight against a poor Buffalo defense that has given up a ton of yards to QBs this season and especially against QBs that have a main slot WR. In general, a QB that faces the Bills averages 15 more passing yards a game. Only five QBs did not reach their average, one was due to the weather (Mahomes), one was due to a massive blowout (Tannehill), two were due to playing against running QBs (Newton and Murray) the last was Darnold because of the Jets. This game should stay close and force a big performance out of Mullens. Bills defense is known to give up a lot of yards to slot WRs and their QBs prosper from that. Teams that have a dominant slot WR that didn’t have weather issues or blowout game scripts, saw an increase in around 63.5 passing yards a game.
