Undefeated Buffalo heads to Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan in hopes to win their first MAC championship since 2008. This might be one of the most complete teams Buffalo has had in recent years. At the beginning of the season the spotlight was on junior quarterback Kyle Vantrease. Now it is clear that Jaret Patterson has stolen the spotlight and is having one of the best seasons any Buffalo running back has had. Patterson has rushed for 1,025 yards and 18 touchdowns. He is averaging 8.8 yards per carry.

This Buffalo team has had zero problems putting up points this year. They are the number one scoring offense in the country, averaging 51.8 points per game. The over has hit in nine of 11. Generally, it has been Buffalo carrying the bulk of the total, but Ball State has played very well themselves.

Ball State are having themselves a great season with their only loss coming at the start of the season at the hands of Miami Ohio. The Cardinals averaging 33.67 points per game and senior quarterback Drew Plitt has been having a great season. The total has cashed in seven out of 11 games for the Cardinals.
