The Lakers and Clippers will open the season at the Staples Center. The battle for LA features the two teams with the best odds to win the Western Conference this season. The defending champion Lakers will be raising their championship banner tonight. The Lakers are a small 3.5 point favorite, the total is a moderate 219.5. The good thing about these teams is we know where a lot of the offensive production is coming from!

Today's play comes from the Lakers, Montrezl Harrell was a key addition to the Lakers this offseason. The reason he is an attractive target today is I don't think people realize how valuable his offensive role is going to be for this Lakers' squad. Harrell will be running pick and roll with Lebron on the second unit. Harrell will also be getting a softer defensive matchup off the bench facing off with Ivica Zubac, the second unit center for the Clippers. 

Harrell won the Sixth Man of the Year award with the Clippers last season. He averaged 18.6 points off the bench for them. We currently have Harrell projected for 25.27 minutes in our NBA Projections Portal.

This will be one of the better prices we get on Harrell for the season. Once people see how well he fits with Lebron on the second unit, his points prop will continue to increase!
