Wendell Carter OVER 8.5 rebounds +115 1 unit to win 1.15 units: Carter looks to take a huge year 3 leap this season with a Bulls team who have been searching for a top tier big. Carter has always been a borderline great big but needs that next step. He was extremely valuable on the boards for them last season, averaging 10 rebounds a game and going over 8.5 rebounds 82% of games where he played at least 20 minutes before his injury that sidelined him for a couple of weeks. We have him projected for around 28 minutes. He gets an easy matchup against the Hawks who will be without Clint Capela tonight. There just isn't any other bigs for the Hawks outside of Capela. So, with Capela out there should be no resistance inside and Carter should be a vacuum sucking up rebounds. The Hawks traded for an already injured Clint Capela late last season, turning into a bottom 8 rebounding team. That was Alex Len and Dwayne Dedmon. The Hawks really have no backup for Capela so they need him moving forward or they will be without much defensive or rebounding pressure inside.
