Joey's NBA Prop Bets Wednesday 01/27/21

We were betting lighter to start the season but we can start becoming a lot more confident in our plays moving forward. Early season NBA is always annoying.

James Harden UNDER 23.5 Points -120 1.20 units to win 1 unit: We got this bet in earlier in the day at -110 in the premium channel but I still like the bet at -120 too. Harden is known throughout the NBA as one of the top scorers in the league but now after being traded to the Nets he has become more of a facilitator vs a scorer. That is what happens when you join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. There just isn't enough shots possession to allow all three of these guys to score 25+ points per game. Harden has seen his FGAs per game fall a ton since joining the Nets, which is why he has seen a huge decrease in points per game. In the first two games, Harden continued his normal shot volume as he saw in Houston because Irving wasn't playing but once he got back into the lineup he is seeing a lot less. In his first two games, he averaged 33.0 PPG on 21.5 FGAs and 10.5 FTAs. This has changed drastically since Kyrie is back, he is averaging 18.0 PPG on 11.8 FGAs and 6.0 FTAs. He has gone under 24 points in every game since Kyrie was back as well.
