We were betting lighter to start the season but we can start becoming a lot more confident in our plays moving forward. Early season NBA is always annoying.
Lebron James UNDER 27.5 Points +100 1.00 units to win 1 unit: This might sound crazy, but I love the under on James at this price. Even though Davis has been ruled out, that doesn't mean you automatically go over on James. All of Lebron's scoring stats usually go down without Davis. He averages 22.7 PPG, 17.7 FGAs per game, 6.0 3PAs per game, 6.0 FTAs per game. This compares to 25.9 PPG, 18.9 FGAs per game, 6.8 3PAs per game, 5.8 FTAs per game without Davis in the lineup. This is a huge decrease among his averages. With AD you can't give all the defensive attention to just one of them. Now with AD out, the defensive can focus on Lebron more.
The Lakers get a matchup against the OKC Thunder tonight. The Thunder play at the 9th highest pace in the league but are in the middle of the pack for defensive rating this season. This game is also still a 10.5 point spread so we can see this game ending up being a blowout as well. Which is something that always favors the under. The Lakers bench is good enough to handle leads which have led to more than often Lebron sitting a lot of the 4th quarter.
