Frank's Dice Roll - NHL Bet for 3/2/21

Welcome to my latest edition of the NHL dice roll. I strive to spotlight betting angles to exploit, and taking a look at today's schedule, there are 16 teams taking to the ice. When I find a wager that I feel strong enough to play myself, I post it on Bet Karma.
There have been many features just added to the Bet Karma site. Make sure to check out: betting trendslive odds page, and our prop predictor.
You can also find all of Bet Karma's staff bets through our Premium Package.

My last dice roll went 0-1
Season record 17-11, +8.43 units.
Let's look at who I like from tonight's NHL slate:
(all lines shown are from DraftKings Sportsbook)

New York Islanders ML (-140)/Play 2.8 units to win 2 units

The Islanders are playing their best hockey of the season, going 3-0-1 in their last four. Two of these wins were dominant performances over Boston and Pittsburgh. The Islanders have put themselves within two points of first place in the Eastern division with a strong power play that scores 25% of the time. New Jersey is the worst team in the NHL, killing off just 62% when in man-down situations. Another key advantage New York has is puck possession. The Islanders win faceoffs at the fifth best rate in the league, while the Devils rank last in this category. I see the dice roll getting back on track with an Islanders win tonight.

Best of luck and enjoy the NHL schedule today.
