Frank's Dice Roll - NHL Bet for 3/3/21

Welcome to my latest edition of the NHL dice roll. I strive to spotlight betting angles to exploit, and taking a look at today's schedule, there are 12 teams taking to the ice. When I find a wager that I feel strong enough to play myself, I post it on Bet Karma.

Let's look at who I like from tonight's NHL slate:

Washington/Boston O 6 goals (-114)/Play 1.14 units to win 1 unit 

The two main categories I look at to determine if a game is worth playing to the over are average team scoring, and power play percentage. Both these teams average over three goals per game, and rank in the top 10 in success on the power play. Both of the two prior meetings this season between these teams produced an average of 7.5 goals per game. You have the insurance of a push if the total falls on six goals, but this has all the ingredients of a game that will see the lamp light at least seven times tonight.
