The new Bet Karma NBA Trends page is designed to show the line movement in team totals, the spread, and game totals. Each section features the opening number, live number, and difference between the two. The movement is taken from the DraftKings Sportsbook

In this article, I’ll break down the movement from one game with the corresponding player prop bet from our Prop Predictor. All of our player props can be found on the Live Odds page by clicking “view props” for each game.

Washington Wizards vs Orlando Magic

The Washington Wizards opened as -3.5 point road favorites over the Orlando Magic. The lines shifted 0.5 points towards Orlando, as Washington’s now a -3 point favorite. The game total opened at 224.5 points, dropping to 222.5 throughout the day. The Wizards team total decreased from 114 to 112.75, while the Magics dipped from 110.5 to 109.75.

Orlando’s found more success against the spread (ATS), covering in 53.1% of their games this season. Washington’s only covered in 49% of their contests thus far. The Magic have been slightly better at home, where they own a 13-11-1 ATS record. The Wizards have found more success on the road, where they boast a 12-11 ATS record this season.

Both teams have found the under slightly more often than not, hitting the under in 49% of their games. Orlando’s also posted a 12-13 over/under record at home this season. Surprisingly, Washington owns an 8-15 over/under record on the road, which is one of the widest in the NBA.

This game features one prop that stands above the rest, according to our Prop Predictor. James Ennis’ assist total is set at 1.5, but he boasts a 2.1 Karma Projection. The difference gives the over an A+ Karma Grade.

Ennis is averaging 1.5 assists in only 23.4 minutes per game through 33 contests this season. With that being said, he’s averaging 2.0 assists in 33.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s posted 2+ assists in 3 of his last 6 games, including games with 4 and 5 assists.

Ennis is expected to continue to play major minutes for Orlando tonight. He’ll benefit from the pace of this game, as well. With such a high game total, it’s easy to see why our Prop Predictor loves the over tonight.
