Ignacio Bahamondes (-186)

This is an interesting match because initially, I was on Makdessi but after diving into this fight deeper I learned that Bahamondes only really struggles versus high volume wrestlers which is not what Makdessi brings to the table. Bahamondes should thrive off of a high-volume game plan and it should lead him to victory here.

Luis Saldana (-127)

Saldana looked great in his debut and gets a big step up in class in this fight but it is a very winnable fight. Griffin has cardio issues and has terrible striking defense. Saldana could pick up a late stoppage but I think he takes a decision in this fight.

Da-Un Jung (-137)

William Knight is a power striker who is not the most technical but poses a big threat of finishing this fight in one strike but Jung should be able to keep distance and pick him apart. I don’t mind a smaller play on Knight by KO/TKO if you want to hedge this fight a lil bit because that is Knight’s only way to win.

Mackenzie Dern (+125)

This play might be a little bit of a bias play but I am a BJJ guy and Dern is the 2nd best women’s female BJJ player of all time. If this fight goes to the ground Dern is by far the better fighter but if she struggles to get Nina down we might be in trouble, even though Dern’s striking has improved as of late.

Julian Marquez (-186)

It is hard to trust Marquez after his last fight but he is fighting Sam Alvey who has been terrible for the past few years. I am personally hoping to get a slightly better line closer to the fight, but Marquez should be able to win this fight even though it is hard to believe in him.

Sadiq Yusuff (-138)

I was hesitant to throw my support to Yusuff in this fight because Allen is a great talent that poses a problem for everyone that challenges him. I think this line is set correctly and Yusuff has a slight edge based on his volume. The key for Yusuff is to fend off some of the takedowns here and push the pace as much as possible.

Solecki wins by decision (+145)

Gamrot wins by decision (+105)

Blanchfield/Dumont goes to decision (-240)

Slight lean- Hunter Azure (+148)

Azure should have the edge on the feet and is a fast starter. If he can use his 76% takedown defense to fend off Shore’s takedowns he should have a clear path to having his hand raised on Saturday night. I am not super confident in this play but the line offers some value on Azure.

Slight lean- Kevin Holland (+294)

Its not a great feeling backing Holland after the terrible performance he put up a few weeks ago, and he is probably going to lose this fight also but there is a huge value in backing Holland’s line. Vettori is a decent wrestler but nowhere near the level that Brunson is so Holland might be able to fend off some of the takedowns and keep this fight standing, which will keep this fight closer than the huge odds that are currently being offered.
